Testimonials

"Miss Amanda has been a true gift to our family! She has an incredible ability to make each session not only effective and educational, but fun! My son has a countdown each week to his next session and we often play “Miss Amanda”. My daughter’s ability to communicate was changed tremendously. As a parent, I appreciate how she recommends things to work on and easy activities to do between sessions. We love her and are so grateful for the individualized plans she makes. The results are very apparent in an impressive amount of time!"

I remember the first day that Amanda met with my then toddler daughter. She quickly sat down on the floor near my daughter and started playing with the baby dolls my daughter had been playing with. By the end of the session my daughter was giggling and attempting to make sounds with Amanda. Over the years, Miss Amanda has engaged my daughter in play based therapy based on my daughter's interests and knows exactly when to encourage her to try the hard things and when to let her silently play. Amanda has come up with sound, word, and phrase ideas to practice that are important and meaningful to my daughter. "Miss Amanda" has a very special place in my daughter's heart.

“We love Amanda’s way of instructing our son. He has never connected with anyone so easily before. She was the best speech therapist he has ever had.”

“Words cannot express how grateful we are for the work Amanda has done with our son. When we brought him to her, we were so nervous and worried that he was not picking up speech. Now, less than two years later, we can hardly tell that he ever even had a speech delay.”

“Our daughter was self conscious of her speech problems. After working with Amanda she really blossomed vocally."

"Our son communicated more in one month working with Amanda than the whole school year working with his other speech therapist."
